Hi! Thanks for visiting my website. I am passionate about creating garden habitats and supporting healthy lifestyle habits.
I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba where I work as an organic gardener, weather permitting!
In the off-season, I attend the University of Manitoba, where I am pursuing my studies in nursing. I offer healthy lifestyle coaching year round, and have practiced since 2009, after training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. I coach people to listen to their bodies to improve digestive health with simple lifestyle adjustments. Improved digestive health can help clear up skin conditions, itching, bloating, and improve energy and mood.
I earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Upon graduation, I founded Eating with the Seasons, a Community Supported-Agriculture (CSA) farm where I grew organic vegetables, fruits, flowers, and eggs. I worked for several years at The Common Market, a natural foods cooperative in Frederick, Maryland, where I also served on the Board of Directors. I was the resident health coach at Healing Tree Wellness Center in Floyd, Virginia, where I taught cooking classes and nutrition workshops. I have worked for a number of organic market and CSA farms.
